Summer Conditioning for Twelve Bridges High School Cross Country will begin on Monday, June 9th! The schedule for days that the team will officially meet during the summer will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. (Saturdays will start after a week or 2, recommended for Varsity runners) Summer conditioning is not mandatory but strongly encouraged
Mondays- 7:30am at Twelve Bridges High School. Meet by the weight room (some days may switch to Twelve Bridges Elementary with advanced notice)
Wednesdays- 7:30am at Twelve Bridges High School. Meet by the weight room (some days may switch to Twelve Bridges Elementary with advanced notice)
Saturdays- 7:30am (location/time will be announced each week as it may change)
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays students are to run on their own or communicate with each other to meet up and run! Mileage for runs will be given out by the coach to be done on these days so everyone knows what to be doing.
We are looking to add another day in weight room during the week, possibly in the evening! This will be a day fully dedicated to strength training

Practice for the upcoming season, practice will officially begin on Friday, August 15th. There will be a short team meeting on Thursday, August 15th after school. The following schedule is how the first few days will go:
Thursday, August 14th- after school team meeting at 4:00pm. We will be meeting outside the weight room area. Not running!
Friday, August 15th- after school at 4:00pm. Same meeting spot outside the weight room.
Saturday, August 16th- Time Trials and Beat The Coaches 1 mile at 8am- Meet at the Twelve Bridges High School track no later than 7:15am for team warm up
Saturday, August 23rd: First meet! Sierra Invitational @ Sierra College. First race is at 8am. All athletes will run the 2 mile course at this meet so it is like our team time trial.
Normal Practice schedule starting Monday, August 18th and moving forward is as follows:
Mondays- 6:30am (morning)
Tuesdays- 6:30am (morning)
Wednesdays- 3:50pm (after school)
Thursdays- 3:50pm (after school)
Fridays: 6:30am (morning)
This is a hybrid schedule to be able to get cooler morning runs in with the later start of school as well as after school runs to still have a little heat training as our league meets will be run around this time.
Team expectations are that runners are expected to attend ALL practices.
